What Do I Do?
I’m glad you asked.
I mainly do the following:
- Proactively advise real estate operators looking for tax efficiency,
- Work with sophisticated property managers and internal accounting teams to build out asset management level accounting for robust real estate businesses.
- Creatively structure syndications, funds, and complex partnerships/JVs to achieve total tax optimization,
- Serve as a second set of eyes for syndication and real estate attorneys tasked with drafting LPA, LLCA, OA, PPM, etc.,
- Pick up the phone when my clients are at the closing table and need help putting out last-minute fires,
- And last but not least, I spend January through March 15th preparing thousands of K-1s for my clients’ investors.

If you are looking for suit and tie, grey hair and a fax number, you won’t find that here. I am younger than the tax code I advise on, and I was in diapers when your last CPA was being promoted to partner at the firm that they sold their soul to for a few hundred grand a year.
